    Breakfast at hotel, then set off to uncover the history of Bangkok, travelling through this magical capital using public transportation like Tuk Tuk and long-tailed boat. Your time in the grandeur of Bangkok has just begun. After breakfast, start your journey in Bangkok, one of Asia's most cosmopolitan centres, and ride on a Tuk Tuk to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The splendid Grand Palace enclosure is home to many ornate temples and buildings, in a variety of architectural styles. Gold leaf, reflective tiling and Buddha Images are to be seen everywhere. The magnificent Wat Phra Kaeo - a treasure trove of Thai arts and home to the Emerald Buddha, Thailand’s most revered Buddha image - is at the heart of the complex.

    Walk to one of the oldest temples in Bangkok: Wat Pho (or the temple of the Reclining Buddha). The famous reclining Buddha, constructed in 1932, is enshrined in this temple. The 46-metre-long and 15-metre-high gold-plated Reclining Buddha, with eyes and feet inlaid with mother-of-pearl brings, to mind the Lord Buddha’s entry into Nirvana. Wat Pho was also the first centre of public education in the Kingdom. Nowadays, it is an important centre for the teaching and administering of traditional Thai massage.

    Set off along the Waterway of Chao Praya River on a private long-tailed boat to discover the Thonburi canal and get an in-depth look at daily life along the canals. Before returning to your hotel, discover some of the main landmarks of Bangkok.

    In the evening journey to Asiatique Riverfront. Asiatique on the Riverfront is themed according to the city’s architecture of old Siam, and features a distinctive atmosphere. Divided into several sections, the Charoenkrung District has a total over 1,000 boutiques. The Town Square combines eastern and western culture with a variety of eateries, beer gardens and an outdoor activity square, whilst the Factory District is located in a 100-year-old refurbished sawmill with over 500 fashion stores, international restaurants, wine bars and shopping idea for souvenirs. Dinner is on your own at Asiatique.

    Bangkok - Kanchanaburi

    After breakfast at the hotel, we'll journey about 75 miles west of Bangkok to Ratchaburi, set on the banks of the Mae Klong River. We begin with a stop at the amazing Railway Market to witness a train running through the middle of the market. Then continue our day to Damnoen Saduak floating market, to take a paddleboat ride along the canal. Then, after a walking tour of the market, we’ll stop at a palm sugar workshop and coconut farm to see how this staple of Thai cuisine is made.

    In the afternoon, we travel overland to Kanchanaburi Province, a green region where the riverside scenery belies its dramatic history, portrayed in the film The Bridge on the River Kwai. It was here that allied POWs and Asian conscripts were forced to build the infamous World War II railway. Lunch is included in Kanchanaburi. We will have the chance to walk across the original Bridge on the River Kwai, and then visit Kanchanaburi's War Cemetery and Thai-Burma Railway Museum. The area is now peaceful, but many lives were lost during the construction of one of the most difficult sections of the railway during

    World War II.

    Late afternoon, board the longtail boat the raft resort. Check in at hotel in Kanchanaburi. Dinner is included at the resort.

    Kanchanaburi

    Breakfast at the hotel, then set off by train along the Death Railway, a route built by the Japanese during the Second World War, using forced labour made up of prisoners of war. It is said that for every sleeper laid down on the track, at least one life was lost. The area retains many poignant reminders and relics of the past.

    Lunch is served at a local restaurant, then you will drive to Erawan Waterfall - a beautiful 7-tiered waterfall located in Erawan National Park, where you can walk up to see each of the picturesque falls (it is best to bring good walking shoes). Also, please bring your swimming suit if you wish to swim in the natural pools. The best time to visit is during the rainy season from May until September.

    Late afternoon transfer back to the hotel, dinner and free time at leisure.

    Kanchanaburi - Ayutthaya

    Today, you will venture away from Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya, the Capital of Thailand from 1350 to 1776, when it was sacked by an invading Burmese army. In Ayutthaya visit the most important of the ruined temples in Ayutthaya historical park, Wat Mahathat and Wat Pra Sri Sanphet. Enjoy lunch at a Local restaurant during the excursion day.

    In the late afternoon, check-in and time is at leisure. Dinner is on your own.

    Ayutthaya - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai

    Driving north and arriving in Phitsanulok for a brief visit to Wat Mahathat, featuring Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha image – Phra Puttachinnarat.

    Following lunch at a local restaurant in the afternoon, we take you to Sukhothai, a name meaning “dawn of happiness” that was founded in the 13th century and became the kingdom's first capital, overseeing a period renowned as the golden age of Thai history. Visit Sukhothai Historical Park, which was once a walled city surrounded by a moat, The park contains almost 200 ruined chedis in remarkable condition. See the main sites of Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Chum, Wat Sri Sawai, War Sra Sri, Wat Trapang Ngoen and Ramkamhaeng Museum before checking into your hotel. Cycling through the park is a relaxing and fun way to see the ruins at your own pace.

    In the late afternoon, check-in and time is at leisure. Dinner is on your own.

    Sukhothai - Lampang - Chiang Mai

    Head north to Lampang, stop on the way at the villages of Sri Satchanalai and Baan Na Ton Chan. Take a walk through these charming small villages and experience the heartbeat of Thailand on an experiential tour that seeks to bring travelers and locals together while exposing a side of the country that is rarely seen by outsiders. On the visit, you will pick fruit alongside locals and see what it is like to work in rice paddy fields. This is the perfect opportunity to learn how communities in this region are adopting sustainable living practices. Observe the innate craftsmanship of locals with a visit to a wooden toy manufacturer and a local silk weaver.

    On the way to Chiang Mai visit at Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, one of the most spectacular temples in Thailand, dating back to 1486. Here, there is an opportunity to take a horse cart ride through town. Also, visit Wat Pong Sanook, a temple awarded by UNESCO for cultural heritage conservation due to its inspirational model for community-led conservation in saving a unique Lanna temple.

    In the late afternoon, check-in and time is at leisure. Dinner is on your own.

    Chiang Mai - Lisu Lodge

    Pick you up at your hotel, then transfer to Lisu Lodge. Arrival at Lisu Lodge, welcome by Lisu Lodge staff with a welcome drink and followed by Thai lunch on the balcony of the house.

    After lunch, it’s time to explore the authentic lifestyle in nearby Lisu village or local temple, vegetable plantation, Himmapaan Nursery, etc, in the lodge.

    In the evening, enjoy dinner with a hill tribe performance

    Lisu Lodge - Elephant Sanctuary - Chiang Mai

    Breakfast at the lodge, then check out. You’ll visit an elephant sanctuary this morning, observe and learn about the life of elephants in their natural home from the elephant keepers. You’ll have a chance to walk

    closely and feed them with glass and nutritious food. A simple lunch will be served at the sanctuary.

    After lunch, return to the city of Chiang Mai. You’ll drive up to the summit of Doi Suthep, it is the 600-year-old temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and has become the landmark of Chiang Mai nowadays. After a drive up the mountain’s winding road, the final climb to the site is via an enormous mythological Nagas (Dragon-headed serpent) staircase of 306 steps (elevators are available). Inside the cloister is an intriguing copper-plated chedi topped by a five-tier gold parasol, which contains partial relics of Lord Buddha. On a clear day, there are incomparable views over the city of Chiang Mai from the temple grounds.

    Chiang Mai - Phuket

    Breakfast is at your hotel then check-out. You will meet our guide then transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for flights to Phuket.

    Upon arrival at Phuket International Airport, your guide and driver will assist with transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore your surroundings or simply rest and recuperate at the hotel.

    Phuket - Khao Sok - Bamboo Raft (SIC)

    Breakfast is at your hotel, pickup at your hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle to the resort in Khao Sok.

    Arrival at Khao Sok, then check in and time is at leisure. Lunch is at the resort.

    In the afternoon, take in the breathtakingly beautiful scenery by bamboo raft down Khao Sok River. Most

    commonly seen animals include birds, such as kingfishers and herons, snakes, frogs, monitor lizards and, if you are lucky, maybe even some wild monkeys. Besides the animals, you can see stunning limestone cliffs covered with dense jungle. In the evening, dinner is at the resort and time to relax at leisure.

    Cheow Lan Lake Tour (SIC)

    Breakfast is at the resort then you’ll be transferred to Rajjapraba Dam. Explore the lake by local long-tail

    boat, taking in the majestic scenery of striking white limestone cliffs, surrounded by emerald waters. Stop

    by the famous 3 Rock landmark, the Guilin of Thailand, before proceeding for a short hike to a cave after which you continue onwards to the floating restaurant. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, with some time for swimming and canoeing around the beautiful scenery of Cheow Lan Lake. In the late afternoon, we return to our resort in Khao Sok, with free time in the evening.

    Cheow Lan Lake - Phuket Departure

    Rise before breakfast and enjoy tea or coffee before boarding your long-tail boat for a wildlife safari, sometimes with morning mist. From your boat, you may see Macaque monkeys, Dusty Languars, Great Hornbills, wild Boars, Gibbons, and even the occasional wild Elephant!

    Upon return to the raft house, enjoy breakfast at the restaurant. After breakfast, you will have some free time to swim, enjoy some independent kayaking, or find your own way to experience the peace and serenity the lake has to offer.

    Followed by check-out, depart from the raft house and head back to the pier.

    After arriving at the pier, you’ll be transferred without a guide by private vehicle to Phuket Airport for your flight to your next destination.

    Good to know

    • Suitable for FITs, families and small groups. Minimum 2 persons per booking.

    • Not suitable for those to travel with wheelchairs or walking gear.

    • River Kwai Jungle Raft is located in a lush jungle, and there is no electricity in the guests' rooms. 

    • Chiew Larn Lake Floating Raft Bungalow has no air conditioning. Only a fan is available in the guest rooms. Electricity is limited, only available from 18.00 – 06.00 hrs.


    Booking / Cancellation Policy

    PAYMENT TERMS

    A deposit of C$500 per person is required within 3days after booking confirmation.

    Balance Payment due on 45days prior to departure.


    CANCELLATION


    If customer wishes to cancel booked and confirmed services, it must be in writing to One Dream Travel, other than the exceptions set out below, cancellation fees will apply as follows:


    * 45 days or more prior to scheduled departure – $500.00 (Deposit)

    * 44 – 31 days prior to scheduled departure – 50% of total tour cost

    * 30 – 0 days prior to scheduled departure – 100% of total tour cost

     

    Unused portions of any tour, including hotel accommodation, sightseeing tours, extra hotel nights, airfare or other items included in the tour are fully NON-REFUNDABLE after your departure whatever the reason is that you cannot continue with your

    tour. All refunds are subject to the consent of the service provider.

    No shows without prior cancellation, will not be entitled to any refund (except force majeure cases, which will be examined on a case-by-case basis).

     

    General deposit and cancellation policy listed above are based on land inclusive packages described on the website. In the case of changes as imposed by the service provider, a different deposit requirement and/ or cancellation policy might apply based on each individual booking. We will advise you accordingly at the time of booking confirmation.
