Taipei Arrival

Activity:

Arrive Taipei, Pick up from airport and meet with the tour guide.

Taipei one day tour, visit 

Longshan Temple - The Longshan Temple hourse hundred of statues of Buddhish, Taoist and Confucian deities. The temple mixes traditional Chinese siheyuen with palace architecture in its design. The temple is divided into front hall, main hall, right and left wing. Painting of vivid creatures grace the temple walls, and stone statues of  mystical creatures guard the temple grounds.

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall - The Chiang Kai-Shek memorial hall was originally established to commemorate Chiang Kai-Shek and drive culture promotion activities. After Chiang passed away in 1975, people in Taiwan and certain of the overseas Chinese proposed to establish a memorial hall to express their respect for the leader.

The site of the Memorial Hall was originally a military base and was later decided to be used as the location for the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.

National Palace Museum

T​he Taipei National Palace Museum is a world-class museum that hosts an eclectic collection of treasures kept by generations of Emperors ruling from the Forbidden City. In WWII, Nationalist troops seized the most important pieces in order to prevent invaders from ransacking China's national treasures. A twist of fate eventually brought these treasures to Taiwan.The Taipei National Palace Museum is designed in the style of a Northern Chinese palace. The museum is home to hundreds of thousands of historical relics that make up the world's most comprehensive and precious collection of ancient Chinese artifacts. The entire collection covers 5,000 years of China's historical and artistic achievements

Wen Wu temple

During the Japanese occupation period there were two temples on the banks of the lake: Longfeng Temple in Shuishe Village and Yihua Hall in what is now Yitashao. But when the Japanese built their hydroelectric power plants, the water levels rose, and the temples had to be removed. The Japanese electric company paid compensation, and the temple managers decided to combine their resources and build a single new temple at Songboling on the northern shore of the lake. The result was today's Wenwu Temple.

One-day Seediq Tribe indigenour experience

The indigenous Seediq tribe has an amazing history. The tribe fought against Taiwan's Japanese colonizers and made them accept indigenous people's rights. The Seediq people lived in the mountains of Wushe, Taiwan. They lived a life of independence and isolation from the outside world. They had unique facial tattoos and features that symbolized maturity and bravery. Recent years have seen many young members of the tribe returning to take up the mantle of environmental and cultural preservation. Knowledge sharing and organic farming opportunities are empowering villagers to take charge of their own collective fate, telling their own tales, and enabling them to connect with visitors in ways that are both meaningful and mutually rewarding. 

Indigenous Experience including : Traditional Tribe architecture tour, weaving culture experience, traditional archery experience, indigenous cuisine (lunch).

Sun Moon Lake - Taroko

Transfer to Taroko

Cross the Central Mountain Range on the Central Cross-Island Highway and enjoy the wondrous high-mountain scenery.

​We'll head higher still, across the island's mountainous spine. While the drive is long, we'll take many breaks for sightseeing, photography, and soaking in panoramic views. We'll stop to touch the trunk of the Bilu sacred tree, said to date back to biblical times. After reaching the top, we'll descend into the valley, and arrive to Taroko National Park.

Taroko - Hualien City

Today will visit Taroko National Park before transfer to Hualien City

Taroko National Park - Shakadan Trail

Shakadang Trail is also known as "Mysterious Valley Trail" and was renamed to "Shakadang Trail" in 2001. This trail is built along the river cliff so travelers can easily observe both the rock folds and plant ecosystem beside in the river valley. After 4.1km you will arrive at 3D Cabin –phonetic sound Sanjianwu, which is the favorite of visitors. After the first curve there is a deep pool with clear water that has enchanted many visitors. In May, it is the season when Tung tree flowers bloom, making the trail a pleasant flower hallway with flowers filling the air like snow flakes.

Taroko National Park - Swallow grotto

Following the Central Cross-Island Highway, at Yanzikou (Swallow Grotto) the rock cliffs of the Liwu River gorge seem to reach to heaven while the river runs its swiftest and the distance between the gorge walls so narrow that they almost seem to touch each other.

Taroko National Park - Baiyang waterfall

The Baiyang Trail features valleys, cliffs, waterfalls, rivers, tunnels, and a huge range of flora and fauna along the way.

Qixingtan

​Qixing Lake (Qixingtan) is located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, in the northeast of Hualien City. Visitors can get there via Meilun Industrial Park by following the signs in front of the National Hualien University of Education. The beach there has an elegant arch shape. The seawater there is clean and blue. The black stones there are crystal. From here visitors can see the great green mountains afar and the twisting highways.

Taroko - Yilan

Hand on Tea Tour - an unique, fun, and memorable experience in Taiwan

​Experience firsthand how organic Taiwanese tea is grown and produced at a real operating tea farm in Yilan that still uses traditional tea processing methods passed down by generations. Pick leaves with a local tea farmer at the plantation and learn how they are harvested (without modern machines) and prepared to become tasty cups of Oolong. Then, experience a rare, hands-on experience learning how to roll and roast tea leaves.
