Fly to Mulu National Park home to the largest cave passage in the world and known to have 1500 species of flowering plants, 170 species of wild orchids and 67 species of animals. Transfer to your hotel and at your own leisure.In the afternoon, enjoy the 3 km raised plank walk to explore the Deer and Lang Caves – the largest cave passage in the world. Walk through the peat swamp forest, and if weather permits, be mesmerized by millions of bats which flying around the cave each evening.

Explore more of Mulu caves with a boat ride to Clearwater Cave. Swim at a crystal-clear water pool near the Clearwater Cave. Explore the Wind Cave and visit a Batu Bungan Penan native Settlement. 

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to your hotel on arrival. Free at leisure.  

Visit Kota Belud, home to the Cowboys of the East, the Bajau, a small sleepy town except during the native market day every Sunday. Visit to the Sumangkap Village, well known for its "Gong" making skill by its local artisan and Gombizau Honeybee Farm. Continue to the Bavanggazo Village- home to the Rungus people community. The Rungus natives are known for their beads and basket-weaving handicrafts. 

Before returning to Kota Kinabalu, enjoy the spectacular view of the northern most tip of Borneo, overlooking the South China Sea. The rest of the day in Kota Kinabalu is at leisure. 

Enjoy an afternoon mangrove cruise with a 02hrs overland journey to Klias Forest Reserve, for the river cruise in search of wildlife. If you are lucky, catch the sight of the bizarre proboscis monkey “Nasalis Lavatus” or the fireflies in their natural habitat.

A full day excursion to Kinabalu National Park, the base of the highest mountain in Southeast Asia. Explore this botanist’s paradise, home to over 1500 species of orchids, 330 species of birds, 26 species of rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher plants and  other  vegetation. Enjoy the nature  walk,  the  exhibition  hall  and  a  slide  presentation. Return  to  Kota  Kinabalu. Transfer to the airport for your onward departure flight.
