Day 1
Tokyo Arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, after passport
control and baggage reclaim, transfer to
Tokyo, the current capital. * The rooms are available from 15:00.
English-speaking assistant available from
the airport to the hotel for information and
check-in. Airport-hotel transfer by public
transport. Telephone support for the duration
of the stay.
Assistance upon arrival and transfer can be
shared with other tour participants.
Day 2
Tokyo B:Hotel L:Local restaurant

Breakfast at hotel. Full day dedicated to the visit of Tokyo with
English-speaking guide. The first stop is the museum of Hokusai, a
symbolic artist of Japan, who has lived in
Tokyo for all his long life. Then you will visit
the characteristic Asakusa district, Senso-ji
Temple, the oldest in the city, and the long
Nakamise-dori boulevard with its traditional
shops.
The visit proceeds with a walk outside the
Imperial Palace, with the famous Nijubashi
bridge, and in the elegant Ginza district, then
ends at the Bunkyo Civic Center, a skyscraper with a viewing platform from which to enjoy
a splendid view of the megalopolis. Lunch included.
Day 3

Hakone visit
Full day guided tour in English.Departure for
Kamakura and visit to the famous Great
Buddha, the monumental statue originally preserved in the Kotokuin temple that stands alone
under the Kamakura sky since 1495, the year
in which the temple was destroyed by a tsunami; and later to the Hasedera Temple, with its
splendid garden full of hydrangeas and colorful
flowers. In the afternoon excursion to the naturalistic beauties of Hakone, a place from which
you can admire the majestic Mount Fuji in the
distance (weather conditions permitting). Visit
to the sacred Shrine of Hakone and the “hot”
valley of Owakudani. Meals not included. NOTES: The order of visits may be subject to

Day 4
Tokyo - Kanazawa - Shirakawa-go - Kaga Onsen B:Hotel D:Hotel

**** Luggage will be transported separately to
Osaka by courier. We remind you to pack a
hand luggage for one night at Kaga Onsen Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided tour in English. Transfer to Tokyo
Station on foot and departure by Shinkansen
bullet train (2nd class - reserved seats) for
Kanazawa Station. Departure by private coach to
Shirakawa-go, the village with characteristic sloping thatched roof houses, declared a UNESCO
World Heritage Site. Transfer to the renowned
spa town of Kaga Onsen by private coach and
check-in at the ryokan, where you can immediately relax with a nice hot bath. Traditional
Japanese style dinner and an onsen experience.
Day 5
Kaga Onsen - Kanazawa - Osaka B:Hotel

Breakfast at the ryokan. Full day guided tour in English. Morning dedicated to the guided tour of
Kanazawa, a town that will take you back to
feudal Japan. Visit Kenroku-en, one of the
three most beautiful landscape gardens in
Japan, and the Nomura family house-museum, where the samurai spirit has been
handed down for 11 generations. Finally, a
walk among the ancient houses of Higashi
Chaya, the neighborhood of the geishas. Departure for Osaka by express train. Upon
arrival, after checking in at the hotel, you
can reach the center independently, discovering the lively nightlife of the city.
Day 6
Osaka - Himeji - Hiroshima B:Hotel D:Hotel

Kyoto by courier. Remember to pack a hand
luggage for one night in Hiroshima Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided tour in English. Transfer to Himeji
by private coach and visit to Koko-en park and
the city's grandiose castle, belonging to the
Sengoku period and listed as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site in 1993. The castle is nicknamed
"White Heron" due to its white color. brilliant. We will then continue to Hiroshima, always by
private coach. Arrival and check-in at the hotel
in Hiroshima. Dinner included.
Day 7
Hiroshima - Miyajima - Kyoto B:Hotel L:Local restaurant

Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided tour in English. Transfer to
Miyajima island by private coach and ferry. Visit to
Miyajima, "island where men and gods live together", to discover the splendid Itsukushima
Shrine, consisting of a series of stilt structures
dating back to the sixth century, known mainly
for its majestic torii⁕, a sacred portal that
stands on the coast. For lunch you will taste
okonomiyaki (a typical dish of the region
cooked on the grill) in a local restaurant. Visit to
the Peace Memorial Museum and Park and
to the Atomic Bomb Dome, the famous building that survived the bombing of 1945 and a
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departure from
Hiroshima to Kyoto by Shinkansen train (2nd
class, reserved seats) Arrival in Kyoto and transfer to the hotel on foot.
⁕The sacred portal could be covered due to
ongoing restoration. Completion of the restoration expected in December 2022.
Day 8
Kyoto - Nara - Fushimi - Kyoto L:Local Restaurant

Breakfast at hotel. Full day dedicated to visiting Kyoto and Nara
with English-speaking guide and by private
coach. Visit the Golden Pavilion of Kinkaku-ji, the
symbolic temple of the city made famous by
the novel by the writer Yukio Mishima, and the
Ryoan-ji Temple with its Zen rock garden. In the afternoon, transfer by private coach to Nara
and visit Todai-ji, the temple where the Great
Buddha, one of the largest bronze statues in the
world, is kept. The building is located in the park
of Nara, where many fallow deer live in semifreedom. Return to Kyoto stopping along the
way at the Fushimi Inari Taisha to admire its
endless red portals. Lunch included.
Day 9

of the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, founded in 798
(the current buildings are reconstructions of
1633), and its surroundings (Ninen-zaka and
Sannen-zaka) and a walk in the heart of the
Gion district. In the afternoon, visit one of the
most fascinating places in the city: Arashiyama,
where the Togetsu Bridge is located, which
has stood on the Katsura River for hundreds of
years, inspiring artists of all ages, the Tenryu-ji
Zen Temple with its refined garden that look
at the mountains, and the famous Bamboo
Forest, immersed in a unique and suggestive
atmosphere.
Day 10
Kyoto - Osaka Departure B:Hotel
